hi all we met dave and tammy at motorfest this year and had an extended discussion with them about all things vintage van. they told us they had a foldout their uncle made in the 50's and have sent the following photos/story via email. they are now members of the forum (Dave&Tammy) and will probably join the group at coledale this year. they were having problems with photobucket and asked us to help, so here are the photos and the story of the van. "This van was built by my Great Uncle Gus Webb of Grays Point back in the 1950's. Built out of GMH Packing crates that were left over at his work. He actually made 3 vans himself but he kept this one. My Dad & Mum brought it off Uncle Gus in the early 1970's and we have had it in the family ever since. Just wondering if anyone out there knows of where the other 2 caravans might be that were brought from Gus Webb at Grays Point??" another part of australia's touring history uncovered. geoff 'n jude (pleased to help) ps dave and tammy you will find some instruction on using photobucket at vintagecaravans.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=photo&action=display&thread=1110436749give it a go, it's easy once you get the knack of it.

Hi David and Tammy. Maurie ( MRfJ55) and I spoke to you at All Holden Day August 2007 when you had the HR and van set up. I took a couple of photos of your van , posted them here on the forum and gave a brief description at the time. Glad to see you have found your way onto the forum and look forward to catching up with you at one of the vintage van events this year. P.S Love your train set too. Reddo

Hi everyone, we just love looking at the website - we are addicted, thanks for all the feedback on the van and thanks Geoff & Jude for your help putting the pictures on for us. We are only learners so hopefully it won't take us too long to pick up on how to use this site. Thanks Dave & Tammy ;D

Hi all, we took the van away at Christmas and from start to finish was approximately 50 minutes - including putting up the annexe.
