Hi Austin125 and Ditzy,
Thanks to the two of you for combining your efforts to post the pics of A125's Don. Great to see it at last, and looking to be in reasonable condition apart from the section on the left side wall. The internal paint and condition looks to be quite original.
I gather from what you told me the other night, A125, and from Firefighter's comment that the external restoration is now complete or almost so. Look forward to seeing more up to date pics when you have time to put them up or arrange for Ditzy to do so.
Looks like your van might have the optional radio connections installed over the rear shelf. If you have time to take and post a photo of that, that would be appreciated. We're working in the dark on that particular aspect of the Don 34-56 series at the moment.
I presume that the van didn't come with the original optional radio... Now that would have been a significant find.
By the way, if you need an original 'over the sink' water tank to use as a template to get a new one made up, I have one that I have used for the same purpose and would be happy to lend you. The same offer applies to any other Don owners who are in need of the same.
