OK, for all those people out there who would like a project I am offering to sell Propert Serial No. 160 the condition of which speaks for itself in the photos below. Last used 25 years ago by my neighbours father to go on holiday down the south coast. It is not very often that an opportunity like this comes along, no rot, no broken glass..............not much of anything really. What a great starting point for a restoration. You can have the last earthly remains of this van for the princely sum of $50 or the next best offer. With this money my neighbour and I can purchase a couple of beers to celebrate his father and whatever else we feel like celebrating at the time. Don't knock me over in the rush, just send me a PM if interested. Can be picked up in Canberra or delivered to the upcoming weekend at Shellharbour. Koala

Gday Koala. Im guessing your are the half-full type of bloke, especially if the beers that you buy from the proceeds become consumed in haste, h haa. Do you think that the parts which you sold can honestly be used to build a Propert??? Once again, l guess thats why you are a hall-full type of bloke, haaa. I woulda bought the Propert sign alone for $50, just to hang in the pool room. Cheers-Pete (aeroliteej).

Hi Pete I have been around vintage cars for long enough to know that anything is possible. There is a guy down this way who says that he restored his car starting with a door handle, there is also a beautiful Rolls Royce which started with a chassis which had been used as a water cart on a farm......the bonnet was on another farm being used as a dog kennel and the correct matching engine was found under a tree hundreds of kilometers away. Going for a beer later this arvo with my work paying so I'm pretty sure the glass will be full ??
