Hi, I'm trying to work out the year and make of my caravan. I found a number on the draw bar and thought I would see if anyone on here help. The id is: A591. The caravan has evernew sticker on it but I can't seem to find another van like it. I have added pics on here before and I think someone on here said it looked like a franklin.
cheers kylie

Hi Kylie, Yes you have an Evernew there,no doubts at all,bed head against a blank wall in the back with a double bed light over and a small vanity basin in the corner, sideways wind up roof hatches, lots of sliding overhead cupboards and extremely thick and well made upholstery. Very up market vans in their time! It's year is from about 1969 to 1971 I would guesstimate. Did you happen to buy this from Langwarrin in Victoria? Cheers Hughdeani

Hi, I bought it from Drouin in vic on eBay. The stove that's in it has a plate on it showing1972 . At the back of the bed head on the wall there's a hole with just bracket only, do you know where I could pick up a double light to put back there? Or are you able to send me a pic of what the original one would have looked like?
Cheers Kylie

Hi Kylie, Ah well I wasn't far out!1972 it is then. The bed light was one of those coloured spun aluminium lamps on two bendable arms, you still see them at op shops and garage sales. Cheers Hughdeani
