Hey Murray,
Unsure on that....looks to be maybe another Viscount, early 60's maybe..?? I do have another photo of that van which shows the side profile better, but the location of that photo eludes myself at this point.! I will keep digging & upload if I find it.
I believe that she's still in that same location too..!
I'm located in North Tassie...!

Hi Thomas, could you please advise what product you used to do the strip caulking? Regards, Bob. Hi Bob, Head to the CaravansPlus website - $9.65 a role.! I sourced mine locally & have used it for all the windows, tail & running lights, power inlet, external light & all the edge stripping.! Really easy to use & its what they used originally. Extra bonus is if you ever have to remove a window, you wont ruin it trying to get it out, unlike silicone..! Rgds, T.

Hi all, Well - I've had the young fella on the job recently....running some flex core & also doing some soldering.! Some other pics of the outside works attached as well. Progress is slow due to time at present, & also trying to trace a couple of very annoying leaks.! Hopefully, I've now got those sorted & it's to the inside we go.! Still have to sort out some wheels & some simple graphics for the sides. Rgds, T.

Thomas - If you have not already run in earth wires to each lamp, It is a better choice when running in the wiring for the Stop/Tail/Blinkers/Clearance lights run in an Earth return wire (-ve) to each light fitting (Daisy chain connection is ok) so as not to rely on the unreliable Aluminium Frame/Skin of the Caravan. Connect all Negative (Earths) wires at both ends of trailer connector (Car and Caravan) and Anderson Plug if used.
Note the 240v Earth wire should have its own Earth connection to the Caravan Frame/Chassis and not share the 12v Negative connection.

Gday Rattles,
Yep - all lights have seperate earths....all connected to main earth back at the trailer plug. All works beautifully. No way i was going to rely on the old system..!

Lookin good Thomas, nice way to find leaks while all the inside is stripped out - saves having water seeping into the cabinetry and timber. The outer looks immaculate! A credit to you.

Hi all, Lots of wiring at present....think i've about got it covered for the 12 / 240 volt. Speaker wire & coax to go. Hoping to get some lining done over the xmas break.!! Tested my new Narva touch lights last night - pls excuse the crude lighting plan!!!. I think they add ample light & are wired on three separate circuits. Regards, T.

Hi there Thomas Just read your thread on a frame and windows. I see you added 300mm to your draw bar on the caravan, I' m thinking of adding 500mm to my draw bar. I was thinking of adding a tool box but I don't think I have the room and the a frame will have to much weight. Also with your lexan windows did you go for tinted or plain? Where did you get your lexan from and what thickness did you get? Regards David
