Hi Guys, While away at Hawks Nest ( yes in our van) I came out if the toilets and seen the back of a van and a port hole. I went back to the van to grab the camera to go and take a photo. Upon arrival I found this, is it a home made job, or what brand is it they have modified to suit ?

Yes it's a Dolphin, Made in Dandenong in the seventies, only mod seems to be that back side window has been replaced for a slider.Originaly it would have been a push out window.

Hi Guys - Yes its a home made alright & what a beauty it is, I love to see what people can combine! I have a 1947 Furness delux 14ft when I first bought her I had to buy two new tyres .... they are big fellas i can vouch for that & now shes got two new 1 ton capacity truck tyres, well its suits the super heavy duty chassis & suspension set up. Does anyone know the history behind the Furness Caravan as I have been told a few old wives tales about the chassis number 441 which i bought - is it true they were nick named the mother of caravans in their day due to the fitted cot? Love to know more & my email is collingwood66@bigpond.com
