Well finally arrived home last night. What a great event. HUGE thanks to Beth and Jody. It was a mammoth task for these girls and their tireless team. It was refreshing to see caravanning through the eyes of non-caravanners. The days were a bit of a blur with up to 8 people at a time in Morticia. I now have a deeper, more meaningful connection to caravanning life, and the people who love this way of life. Trouble is, no sooner get home and the travel bug hits - oh where to next?

Cobber, your FJ and van is featured on show!!!! I get about a Pathfinder tail light in on the edge of Harvey and Lyneth. Warricks crusader gets a fair run. Can't complain though, they did 5 mins on my van and car at shannons this year with a $1,000,000 maclaren parked right behind me! Guess who the maclaren owner thought they were coming to interview when they first rolled up!! ;D ;D ;D Obviously had good taste ;D

Hey Jenno, Recorded the show and....... went to bed It was just a "snap shot" of the MOTLW aye ? ... but the vintagecaravans.com flag got into the picture too Impossible to cover all that went on at that event but one of the highlights for me, during the evening entertainment, was when Jessie Giles recited her own composition "Eye Spy".... you can see it on YouTube HEREIs there a link to the Shannon's interview anywhere ? Cobber.

Hey team! Feels like forever ago already....!!!
I hope nobody got post-bigthing-blues and everyone had safe adventures home or elsewhere and warm hearts... I've been fossicking ever since and just made it to Melbourne today and am spending my last night in the van. (Waaa!) It's love.
Been a bit tardy with the plaque bizzo (sorry!) but have spoken with Bluey now and sent him a design that will be made on 50x80mm silver metal... And will cost the princely sum of $6 including gst and postage which if you would like one please deposit into:
Beth Sometimes BSB: 013275 Account: 515267417
- my account and I will transfer to Bluey and he will post out to you if you also e-mail me confirmation and address if I don't already have it.
Now that i'm back in Melbourne I will finish updating the website and links to video content that was created for the project and post more photos there etc etc. If anyone has images they would like me to put on the website then feel free to send them through if you haven't already.
There's murmurings of something happening again in the future (maybe)....it seems, to my art brain, like something with a lot of scope and different threads and ideas that could be developed or highlighted....
So anyway, we'll keep in touch....if any of you are in Melbourne, don't be a stranger...
Alright! All the best to you, Beth
PS I saw a neat 1950's plywood van for sale in Nhill that needs some work but nice inside, going for around $1000 ...
