Yep that's what I'm after ;D, one pair of something similar to what is used on Olympics and Sunliners as the door on my newly aquired Vintage Van has the same issues with shape and curve to clear the body when opened, failing that if some of you kind members would be good enough to email me photos of your hinges I might even have a crack at making my own. Hi Reply #30 on my Caravelle thread has a close up pic of the hinges if that's any help (sorry dunno how to post link to that here). May or may not be the same on Kennedys.

Hi Humpyboy, I made these out of aluminium angle 2 years ago they are certainly strong enough, been to Winton FNQ and back. Washers made out of plastic bottle tops stop all that black you get when ali rubs together. Cheers Les

Happened to notice the Debonair thread currently at the top of members photo album also has a good hinge pic which may be of itnerest.

Thanks 2up, I did remember someone making thier own but guess what? I forgotted who it was (again) and hilldweller, already saved those pics but all is well!! seeshell still has the hinges of her deceased Olympic and has kindly offered them to me for my project who's a happy camper then ;D a big thank you to seeshell.
