our no 3 van that we think is a PIXIE made in New Zealand nearly 10 ft aluminium with the barn door in the back all thats in it is 2 single beds table wardrobe facility for a gas stove no fridge late60s early70s we think anyway her name is UGLY BETTY if you saw her you would see why we called her that

Cora Lynn is a quiet little town near pakenham, the organisers would like to invite us to attend this wonderful event and display our unique caravans and vehicles. Arrangements will be made for those wishing to camp on the friday and /or saturday evenings prior to the sunday event.Depending on the number of v/vans that can attend, tropphies will be given in various categories.If any one is interested the organisers are requiring acknowledgement with numbers attending by the 15th August 2008.Last year there were 800 plus cars an the oval as well as other classic trucks buses vintage motorcycles and market stalls etc . Also a Poets breakfast will be available on sunday morning. Entry for vehicle and driver is FREE ,other passengers $5pp Any enq-contact Dennis Jones- Event Co-ordinator-- -0409861088 or Doug-- 0418346930 ps/ Last year those of who stayed had a ball! The organisers have expressed that we can have room for 30V/VANS,so lets see if we can make a strong showing even you interstate guys!

GG, The cowes weekend is april 12,please come along and meet the crew, there are extra sites all together if you want to stay we are going down to cowes on the friday 11 in the afternoon .The number to book a site is 59522211 and tell its for the v/van weekend with all the sites booked. Maybe we will see you there . Looking forward to seeing youre van!!!! Doug.

Hi , To all that have booked at the c/van park ,we have 11 vans coming along definate so we should have a good time!. Will catch you all down there on the island. We will be down there on the friday at some stage If there is any one else who wants to come along with a v/van we still have some more sites reserved for us all together Doug-- ;D ;D

Ok, thanks for all the suggestions guys,we hit a few brick walls trying to get a park that would keep us all to gether as a group so we have decided to go with the COWES C/VAN PARK at cowes in church street which backs on to the beach. We have used this park for around 12 yrs and we can recomend it highly.Great camp kitchen if needed and enclosed BBQ area to cook in!. Good toilet and showers ,great enclosed area with fire place childrens play ground all nice and close to the large grass area with powerd sites.Have reseved sites and i will need numbers end of january early febuary to confirm number of sites. THE DATE IS THE WEEK END -APRIL 12 .DOUG

Well hi all who came along to cora lynn,did we or did we not have a good time!. I'm sure next year will have just as much.We had a good turn out even with bathurst on !
