I have to replace the wall lining at the bed end of my Olympic. I always intended to use painted ply but she who must be obeyed has other ideas. She wants a 1967 period look. Can the 1960's look laminex still be purchased?
cheers, Bill

Hi
Depending on the Olypmic, they had wood-look stained panels or formica (often grey wood look). You can get some very close wood grain looks now as it's incredibly popular. Try looking through the laminex.com and formica.com sites.
There are plenty of local laminates as well - check your local business listings, particularly cabinet makers. They may be agents for some overseas brands of laminate.
