Hi Des an Kel
A very handsome van you have there. And that Valiant isn't half bad either.
Happy trails! Seeshell

Thanks Mark for letting us have a look around the Beverly shed, I'd like to give a special thanks to Brian for staying back on Sunday to give us the tour. Really appreciated, a must see on any WA tour. The valiant has been running fine since we left Beverly, Brian and I made some minor adjustments to the valve clearances before we hit the road, it runs better on all 6. We have done a lot of roadside camping and national parks so this is the first time we have logged in since leaving WA. Today we are in Lightning Ridge (not far from home now) because we are carrying 2 x 10 liter buckets of rocks the kids have collected over the 8000 km. too much long long trailer We dropped into the ridge to show the kids some real gem stones, did some "noodling" and then we meet Sheppo in the main street. A good find we reckon ;D ;D ;D. Cheers Des and Kel Thanks seeshell, we really enjoy them both.

A blokes just out shopping in the Ridge when he spies this lovely outfit parked at the curb. So of course gotta go have a sticky, bugger me dead it's Des and Kel from Kingaroy on there way home from WA. Monte the travelling weather man had just pulled up and was interviewing Des, so we all had a piccy took with him. Bloody GREAT to see their outfit in town, saw them drive out of town next morning on my walk to the bore baths. More power to you guyz for undertaking a big trek like that. ;D. Sheppo

Well done Des and Kel. A big trip but with suitable planning anything is achievable. Great to see folks out there and using their "old" cars as they should be. If a Vagabond and an old Valiant can do it surely anything can. Next 18 months will put a few more miles under the Vagabond and VV's tyres. Cowra next, Orange VOCA National rally in January, Tour around Qld in the middle of 2013 for 7 or 8 weeks and back to somewhere in Qld in January 2014 for the next VOCA National rally. WORK? What work! Looking forward to seeing you all in a fortnight. Leigh.
