The owners gave me the date as they said it was on the gas system. I do not know anything about Sunliners,so happy to be corrected. It is a very clean van ready to go. Cruz

;D If you need to work out the year of a Sunny take a look Down memory lane and check the sales brochures Its not that difficult to work it out They altered the Molds 3 Times The 1st Sunny had Wrap around front and back windows and spats over the wheel arches. The 2nd in mid 62 still had the wrap around windows but they altered the wheel arches to similar to a Holden FE FC FB EK style. The 3rd they changed the front and back windows to an opening style window and this is probably because they wanted more air flow through there vans and this was more than likely late 62 early 63 I think this should clarify how to date a Sunliner. If the number is there ( should be about 8 inches back from the coupling), it will read YYMM then a 3 digit number which is its build number, which will be about 400ish at a guess. Might have to sand the paint a bit.....the stamper was not heavy handed!!

Chassis numbers are ok if your van has one but by using the guide I have suggested it gives you an approx age. Unfortunately when people re licence these things its usually a guessing game on year of manufacture, that's why you see a van like this advertised as 1960, It is obvious this model wasn't produced till at least late 62 early 63 as this is the last style Sunliner put out. Hello everyone! This Sunliner has new owners! We Purchased the van today off the most amazing couple "Norma & Grahame". We spent the day with them going over the van in great detail and were very impressed on the care and detail of the Van. Thank you to Cruz for posting this on the forum. I have been searching for a Sunliner for ages now and nearly ended up with one that needed ALOT of work. I happened to come across the post doing a google search.. Very proud to be part of the Sunliner family and look forward to its adventures
