Rodnet I made these comments in a different thread recently, that we could incorporate with your post here !! ;D. I'll go searching now and maybe I PM some Supalite owners and see what their chassis numbers are?." Is there a "register" somewhere of V V details once they're registered for the road, such as make, model, year, chassis number, colour etc -
I know of a Holden EH Car Club (I know this site is a forum not a club ) that has a comprehensive one that I will register with when I'm finished my tow car - the Holden EJ ute I'm rebuilding !! Sandra Read more: vintagecaravans.proboards.com/index.cgi#ixzz1jhHvTKoI

...I would like to get a little black book and put names, numbers and perhaps addys in it, and hopefully what van you have. You know, faces to vans. If you feel that would not mind me having this info could you please send me a PM... Hi all, Please note that Rodnet very properly requested the information referred to in his post by PM. Because of the risk of identity theft, it is generally unwise to post your name and address on the open internet, and I recently even read a warning about posting your phone number as well, although many of us do the latter. This isn't meant to be a criticism of anyone, just a friendly reminder. Don Ricardo on behalf of the moderators

" ...Is there a "register" somewhere of V V details once they're registered for the road, such as make, model, year, chassis number, colour etc...Hi Aquamum, No there isn't a register of V V details. Setting up a register has been discussed on a few occasions, but quite a lot of forum members dislike the idea on the basis that it would make the forum too much like a "club" with all the formality, competitiveness and factionalism that that sometimes results in. Note that I said "sometimes" - I know that that is not by any means always the case. Your best bet is to use the forum 'Search' tool to look for 'Supalite'. You will need to insert '3600' in the 'No of days' box to go back to the beginning of the forum (more or less). If the search fails, immediately try it again (with exactly the same entry), and you'll often find that second time around for whatever reason the search will come up with what you are looking for. If it helps, I can point you to Reddo and Kingy, both of whom have Supalites. Don Ricardo

Don
Thank you for your response to my idea for a register, and having been involved with various "clubs" over the years I understand your comments completely.
I did mention that only the "general info" would be included (and maybe our forum names), certainly NOT our RL names, address & phone numbers.
I know from hours of researching this and other forums & websites, identifying my van has been difficult as she didn't come with a brand name or a compliance plate.
Thanks to alot of help from other VV's on this wonderful site I'm 90% there.
