Hi Everyone, I have caught the bug. I have a 1960's van that I bought recently and have been obsessed with renovating, and it needs a lot of renovating. I am at the stage of repairing rotten wood framing, not a fun job but I'm getting there. Next step is to try and replace some of the external alluminium cladding where the previous owner has drilled a thousand too many screw holes. I should not need too much so hopefully someone can help me out. I live in Gunnedah NSW but would travel. See photo below. Thanks in advance. jlorro

Hi & welcome Jlorro. In our Technical section you will see some suppliers listed. It is highly unlikely you`ll be able to get the same diamond pattern as you have pictured.Manufacturing of that design ceased some years ago. Then of course you need the same profile.Best bet after you scanned the Tech sec is to look out for a damaged van or maybe a second hand scrap yard. gordon

I have some but it's in Adelaide. One sheet is about 8'x 4' (without actually measuring it). The other is about 8' x2'6". They came off a globetrotter and I would have to check for damage if you are interested. I also have some other bits from it including a fly door, 4 flyscreens and windows (ally), a table, an ice box door and an electric fridge from another van. Regards Graham

Hi Bruno,
Welcome to the forum. What kind of van do you have?
I saw your reply to Jlorro, but his/her request was posted in 2012, and I note that they haven't logged into the forum since shortly after that same year. They may still check the forum from time to time, and you may get an answer, but more probably not unfortunately.
If you tell us a bit more about your van, maybe someone else will be able to help you. Getting vintage era cladding is not an easy task though, as you have probably found.
