Let's try this one! The photo was taken Jan 1982, I imagine it doesn't look quite like that now. Merry Christmas to all. from foxy

Spot on, kingswood308, I didn't expect it to be named this quickly. Noosa was a sleepy hollow when we were therein 1982, not the cosmopolitan resort it is today.

Ok, I am under extreme duress transferring everything from my trusty, old, slow windows computer to my fancy schmancy new Imac. Making myself learn how to use it has so far taken up 1/2 the day when I could have been doing caravan stuff! I'm sure you'll get this one fairly quickly.

Hi Gypsy10, I like Sutcac's answer and I think it's 100% correct...but you're probably looking for something a bit more specific...? The photo reminds me of a photo of a paddock I took near Smithton in Tasmania, but I don't think Jamo has been there with his car and caravan, so I won't pursue that one. However, the soil looks volcanic, so I'll have an initial try at somewhere in the Western District of Victoria? Don Ricardo

Clue......ok. Don nearly had it...........then he went and lost it......... Don you forget that Jamo and I do vintage car runs all over Australia. Even Tassie. Maybe I should put some Light on it? ?

Hi Gypsy10, Oh, so it is Tasmania! Should have followed my instincts...instead of trying to guess where Jamo may or may not have been with his van! Based on your comment about the 'Light', I'll go for Wynyard which is close to the Table Cape lighthouse. Don Ricardo
