...it is not Bermagui harbour but you are on the right side of Australia. Cheers, Ian. hmmm?....a fishing port with norfolk pines along an esplanade?...could be any one of dozens in NSW?....Moruya perhaps?

Hi Dave and Arthur, Dave, Mount Kozosco Still can't find that in Google but I think you know the answer. What is the main distinction for this place? Arthur, You're heading in the right direction from Bermagui, but it's not Moruya. Cheers, Ian.

I think the main distinction is that you can no longer drive to this point?

Hi Dave,
Sorry for being difficult but you were right and it is the summit of Mount Kosciuszko.
The distinction I was thinking of was that it's the highest point in Australia and Humpty2 is correct in that you haven't been able to drive there for many, many years.
The second picture is not Ulladulla harbour. I thought that everyone would know where this is and that it would be too easy. Probably one of the most visited locations on the South Coast of NSW. Very popular with some caravanners early in the year.
Cheers, Ian.

Hi Cruz,
Spot on, Kiama Harbour, late 1979. We were in our van at the Blow Hole caravan park for six months whilst our home was being built.
Thanks, Ian.

Hi 2up, Carriage house...coach house... Well at least I was heading in the right direction! (Just not in the right region of the country ) All that aside - WOW, what a wonderful building! Thanks for posting it. That's what I really like about Where's this - you find out about some great places you've never heard about (but wish you had last time you were there!). Mr Google tells me that the carriage house belongs to this building - Martindale Hall: (Source: www.flickr.com/photos/blackdiamondimages/3638736782/ )Don't they have some fantastic buildings in SA? (Not sure why that last sentence ended up in green... ) Apparently Martindale Hall was used for some of the scenes in the film Hanging Rock. You learn something every day! Fantastic! Thanks for the pic 2up. Don Ricardo

Funny thing is that were never any disappearances at Hanging Rock at all. All 100% fiction. Dave Are you sure about that Dave? Those girls disappeared and were never seen again... I saw the film in 1975 and it left an unsettling feeling that has never left me. I'm being genuine about that. If people haven't seen the film it's worth a look - at least you'll get to see Martindale Hall! Don Ricardo

By the look of the fern beside the shed, I'm guessing, Rawson - Walhalla area

No, it's not Rawson or Walhalla. But you're in the right state, and on the right side of Melbourne and there was gold mined there. It's SSW of the last place I got lost.... and a bigger photo this time!!!
