Well done Don, it is also a fantastic spot to park your van for the night. Clean, modern facilities in the park & the lamb shanks at the pub are to die for. My little girl left her doll on the swing here & they found her for us & posted home.

It's worth a visit, here are a couple more pics to inspire people to go. Sheppo wow!...looks like there are a few old buildings just waiting for new owners to renovate? I like that old Spanish Mission style mechanics hall. Must be a lotta mechanics in town if they need a hall like that to accomodate them all?....wonder if they have any vv mechanics in there?

;D Very good Penny, have you been there or was it a Google job? Guilty, it was Google Images... There's a pic almost identical to yours that came up from a Pub Crawl website.... Here's my contribution... Sorry, I haven't had time to sort out Photobucket yet so I hope this works.... Sorry it took too long, the first photos I wanted to use were too big and I couldn't figure out how to resize it !! Where is it... and what's missing? Vanessa

Ok you Googlers see if you can find this. Travellers you will have been here but not noticed this railway turntable even though it's in the main street. I will give you all the clues by sunday night as i am off on my winter wander North to Cooktown, first stop Rodnets. If any one else wants a visit feel free to Email me, maybe you need a hand to put Sunliner windows in or want a hand fixing ply sheets on etc. Sheppo

Looking at the background and the bluey tinge i'd guess it's Lake Tinnaroo up in the Tablelands Sheppo

Hi Ray,
I know you went fishing up near Gympie once, so I'm guessing Lake Wonduran.
