Hi All
Just a quick message to let you all know the annual Broke Fair will be held on the weekend of September 10th and 11th. its located about 20 k west of the Hunter valley / cessnock vineyards
Lotsa foody stalls.. market stuff .. coal mining ...forestry commission exhibitions besides the usual collection of army , bus, car, bike, stationary engines, tractors... there is even a bloke that has a really large collection of animal traps. Brass and pipe bands etc , etc I attend this event every year with either my old motorbikes or the van. Its the vans turn again this year.
The show is on the sunday .. however I head out to the fairgrounds on satuirday arvo and camp the night.
Its a lot easier than trying to steer a car and van through all then other vintage vehicle exhibits on sunday morning. Its very difficult to save a site for anyone, so i urge you...if you are planning on coming along try and roll up on saturday arvo.
So... if ya keen just register your expression of interest here and i will catch ya out there .
Regards Reddo

Couple of photos from Broke Fair. Great weekend away . My son Luke towed "Rosie"with the FB panelvan I towed the Cadet with the FJ ute ChippyDave and his Partner had spent an enjoyable day out around the Hunter Vineyards and turned up mid to late arvo. We partied on saturday night with a few of my mates from The Hunter Valley Norton Owners Club who had set up beside us.. and had firewood... Up early sunday morning to the sight sounds and smells of old stationary engines popping and spluttering away. Lots to look at . Another forum member "Wattagan"turned up in his 1929 model International Gypsy style truck.... complete with guardsvan potbelly stove inside... Things are a little different up the front... The second radiator under the front bar keeps the Flat Head Ford V8 cool. had a yarn with Martin and julie...Here is there tank Fairlane.. Keeping company with a nice Corvette.. an army BMW with sidecar... Lotsa nice rods... Now ére's something ya dont see everyday... Yup.. had a great weekend. Had to leave just after lunch and make visiting hours at the Hospital to check on the cook.. shes doing well. Cheers Reddo
