Hi, I'm watching a couple of VVs at the moment. Wondering if anyone can recommend an insurer once purchased? I have read the previous insurance thread but it is a couple of years old now. (ps I won't use Shannon's from personal experience. They will take your premium but that's about it for service.)

Hi Pro, I can only pass on my experience, I am insured with HBA with 2 vans .I found that up to $5000 cover the premium is the same about $85 and they wont insure agreed value. Also they want photos of vans older than 1980. I had one van insured for $12000 cost about $125. Regards Case.

We've always used CIL Insurance. They use agreed value, price not too bad. Only ever made 1 claim years ago - just a phone call, no forms to fill out, paid direct to repairer - couldn't have been easier.
