Hello all...In the process of returning the hatch cover to the van after restoration of it and brackets. As it has been some time since it was removed I have forgotten, perhaps the truth is more like I nver took much notice of, how the brackets were fitted. Is anyone able to point me in the way of a photo of a hatch that would assist me in the correct placement of brackets......Scot

hi scot different manufacturers used many different methods of attaching the hatch and it's brackets, so it's almost impossible to give you worthwhile suggestions to your question without knowing what make and model your van is. one suggestion though, if it's a hatch that has a pivot hinge, this should be towards the front so the wind doesn't get under it when you're towing and tend to lift it open. the best help though would be to post some pictures of the van and the brackets to give us all a better idea of what you're trying to achieve using photobucket. here's how.geoff 'n jude
