First one had a Carapark hitch on it when I went to look at it in capalaba many years ago. The second one is a home made unit that has been pictured here before, sutac posted a pick of it when it was yellow at an Ipswich show behind a yellow Chrysler Imperial wagon. Story goes it was built by one of the original owners of a big mitre 10 store at mount gravatt. I have posted its story somewhere here but do not know how to search for it.

The green Sunliner comes from Scone NSW. A lady, who uses it regularly, is not involved with this forum.....but loves her Sunliner.

G'day Rodnet and Humpty2, Rodnet: Santa28a provided some background on the second van - the one with the unusual bulkhead, air vent, or whatever it is on the roof. Here it is in the previous life he referred to: At some point it was put on Ebay (in fact I think the above pics were from the Ebay page), and I guess that's when the livery was changed to pink and cream. The van has always fascinated me because of the unusual roofline and trying to work out what the function of the bulkheads might be... If you know anything about it, please put me out of my quandary! Humpty2: Regarding the Sunliner, what's the story behind the split windows. They're not original are they? Hve they replaced the originals? I don't recall seeing a Sunliner with windows like that before, and as far as I was aware split windows only came in in the very late 60's, well after Sunliners stopped production. In fact I was wondering if the van was a NZ built Concord? Production of the Concords continued right through the 70's and beyond when split windows were available. I'm just speculating, and maybe there's a simpler answer... Don Ricardo
