Got a mate who is about to advertise both an "S" and an "R" series vallo. Both are in beautiful condition, I believe less that 100,000 miles ea(one has only 80,000) original. Can't remember which is which but one is auto and the other a rare manual factory 3 spd floor shift. Both currently with historic rego. I can pass on his details to anyone interested who PMs me Probably cost you more Olfarts, to transport and do up your royal than simply buy one of these babies ready to roll ;D. jennison

Bit more info for those who were interested. The S is green/auto and the R is white/with the 3 spd floorshift. Also, I was talking with an elderly fellow today who was a chrysler dealer from the 60s' to 90s'. He said without doubt the floorshift R series were part of a special dealer release by chrysler in order to produce and sell the minimum production number required for their Bathurst racing version. jenno PS...Should have some pics to post tomorrow or day after

Righto....Trev has finally sent me 23 photos............. inside, outside, dash, doors, seats you name it. Probably easier for me to email the photos direct to any prospectives unless someone kindly has the time and know how to post them up here for me. (me being a photobucket computer dinosaour and all that) Be nice to have at least some up on the thread if someone could possibly help please. jennison

Barring any hiccups it looks like the R has been sold. That leaves the S. It was in the better condition of the two and with the torqueflite auto and slant six, great for easy towing with the the ol slanty undoubtably one the best 6 cyl workhorses ever made.

The R is now in the hands of a good friend of mine! Very lucky to own one of these as it is one of 1009. They made 15,000 S Series vals, my everyday car is identical to the green S!
