Hi I am selling a 1954 (approx) Rowvan. As far as I know it has always been in a shed but something was put on top of the van and dented the roof. One of the ceiling panels is badly cracked and will need to be replaced otherwise it looks to be in good condition. The caravan has not been moved or registered since 1980. Price is $3,500 o.n.o. The van is located at Walker Flat SA - you would need to use a trailer to transport it. I have more photos but they are in word.doc format. Not sure how to post these but could email them. Cheers

And I am finally now the proud owner of this Rowvan. Have always like these vans and nearly bought a 10 1/2 footer a few years ago - still spitting chips about that one, as it sold for $750!!!!
Will be picking it up in August - yep, another interstate purchase. Reddo ;D ;D ;D

Thanks guys. Just had an email from the seller, who confirms that this van has been in the same family all its life, and always lived at Walkers Flat. Hoping to score some old pics with it.
Colours could be a problem - not sure about painting it blue now ;D ;D ;D However I think Rubik Kube colours are ONLY good on Properts!!!!

G'day Roehm, Congratulations on your new van. Looks to be in great condition. There's one thing I'm concerned about, though... Now I know that sometimes we all see what we want to see, so don't feel embarrassed. It happens to us all. But you do realise it's a 'Rowvan' not a 'Roehmvan' don't you? ;D ;D ;D PS What's happened to the Trail-a-Home? Are you still working on it or did you leave it in Queensland? Don Ricardo

Don, it was the van that had a name nearest to mine!! I reckon with a bit of Daggsey signwriting magic, you never know what one can come up with!!! Perhaps I might even have a name-change ;D ;D
The Trailahome? Been musing over that one for ages now. The cost to bring it down here was, to my mind, "dead money" as it would need to be trailered, and heaven knows if it would even survive the trip. So have decided to leave it in its homeland, Qld. In July I will be up there and hand over possession to neilncheryl, who have promised to restore it to its former glory. It may be a lot of work, but as it's the only one of this model ever found, it makes it unique in the true sense of the word. No doubt Neil will do justice to it, I'm sure.
