Hello Curtis, Uncle Humpy here, you will not be alone at this event as it is very popular to the point some even camp there for the weekend, I will have "STU" there with a little luck, if you are planning on coming for the Sunday alone may I sugest you get up early as the place fills fast.

Curtis, You can put a VV on Historic rego if your car club OKs it and it meets their criteria.....eg 30 years old, original and can be verified. but why would you bother as Vic rego is so cheap on a van compared to NSW

Hello...Thinking of making this our maiden voyage. Can some one post details as I can only find limited info in the net. Do we need to book a site? Is power and amenities available? Is it a weekend event or just one day?........Many thanks Scot

Heh Still have not heard of a date for Cora Lynn and it will now clash with the Grand Final, if they have it on the first weekend in October as in other years. Please advise. Thanks Brett

Thanks Brett .....the grand what?....wassat?.... ;D ;D .....the date is the pretty much the same as last year ,but the venue has changed ( so it's not called CoraLynn anymore I guess).....seems the grounds haven't dried out from the drenching earlier this year , so rather than wait until it's too late to do anything about it, it's been moved .......it's now at Lardner Park near Warragul. I don't know if it'll have an impact on the caravan/camping, or what facilities are available......s'pose we'll have to wait and see. If I can find out any more info ,I'll let everybody know ASAP.......ciao, Col.

Thanks Kaybee.......more info would be good. I did check the Lardner Park calendar of events and there is no date or reference to this event, perhaps we need to find another event for our maiden voyage.........Scot

Hi All Important update from forum member Doug ( don 257 ) if you are going to lardner Park part of an e mail I received from doug today we have a good nice grassed area and flat!!!. There is power available along a fence line opposite where we are going to be but only to plug a kettle in if needed not to power up our vans ,they wont allow us to run leads across road ways. We have the ok to run generators at night as we have always done at cora lynn. Any questions regarding this you can give me a call on--0418346930. Thanks Doug

Hi All Turned out to be a lovely day at Lardner Park - was great to see a number of vans including a very lovely Country Club in cream and yellow, and a cute little Propert. I would have liked more time to look around but had to do trades with the hubby and grandparents to supervise Sophie on the jumping castles.... Looks like everyone had a nice time staying over - I look forward to trying that out when we get our van done. Cheers Seeshelll

ALSO WOULD LOVE TO GET TO PHILLIP ISLAND FOR THE CUSTOM NATIONALS ONE DAY . THE TEARDROP IS LOOKING COOL , YOU TWO HAVE COME A LONG WAY WITH IT . I CAN SEE WHERE YOU GET YOUR STYLING INFLUENCES FROM , AND WHAT A GREAT INFLUENCE IT IS FROM THE OWNERS OF THE " SPLICE " TEARDROP . I WISH I COULD GET MY TEARDROP TO LOOK SO GOOD !
