Hi yawl, Haven't been on for a while - final year PHD. Re: Sunliner. Have stuck with the marconi track and cleats for awning. Is there any easier way to make it work without swearing and pulling your hair out?

G'day Dorian, Hang in there with the PHD mate, and good luck with it. The best tip I have to offer regarding the Marconi track is to chamfer or bevel one side of the track with a hack saw..... makes feeding the clips on a piece of cake. Just feed 4...5...or 6 clips onto the track at a time, bunch 'em up...... go around to the other side of the awning and pull 'em along the track...... and do it again. Try and get the slot-headed screw a bit straighter than this one is and it's a good idea to put a bit of masking tape on the paint work so you don't scratch it Cobber.
