Hi Mark Please find attached a few photos of my mum and dad's caravan. It was made in 1964 at Brisbane by my grandfather, who was a plumber, assisted by a cabinet maker for the interior fit-out. The frame is steel, and the skin is aluminum. The chassis is 'c' channel steel that has some rust but overall is not too bad, but will require attention. The leaf springs are quite rusty and the air-vacumn operated drum brakes are disconnected. There is a pop-up roof vent that is flyscreened and an unoperational refrigeration motor on the drawer bar. Underneath is a stainless steel water tank. The included annexe and poles are in good condition. The interior fit-out is in very good condition. All the cabinets work well and the paint is very good. It does not leak water but the window seals should be replaced as they are brittle. The caravan has been around Australia once and has done a few trips in Queensland. My parents have decided to sell the van and would prefer to see it go to an enthusiast rather than be used as a choke shed. Inspections welcome and reasonable offers invited. Contact Mark on 0428 280 218.
