Thought I would share some photos of a van I purchased over 12 months ago. It is a 21' Olympic Stardust which I thought was around 1971 so I have posted photos on the Classic site but Boblor informs me it is a 1969 so I will include photos here. Interior is a mess Front dining side kitchen rear separate bedroom side bunks. I am about to start renovations/make over in a few weeks and will post progress on both sites. Can't wait Neil

Hi Neilncheryl,
With your normal level of detail in rebuilding applied to this van, similar to that on your other van rebuilds, it will come up fantastic in the end. You guys have the persistence to be able to complete a big job.
As you told me when I bought Deejay from you recently, there's nothing like a tandem for towing.
Combine that with your great find in the Fairlane, you'll be out there having fun in both before you know.
Its all fun
JBJ

Hey Neil Well she looks pretty damn fine to me. No rot in the floor, all the fibreglass interior is there..... Mate you have the beginnings of a really nice van
I'll be watching your progress and thinking about future vans for myself..... Not that I am envious in any way ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers Atog

Thanks for all the kind words. Well JBJ I don't regard myself anywhere near good but thanks for the support and I will give it a red hot go. I suppose when you restore/repair something yourself you look at what you could have done better rather than how well you have done - well I do anyway.
ATOG, the floor has rotted under the seats and along the sides at the bedroom so I will be replacing all the floor rather than trying to replace sections.
I will be replacing the floor first then repairing the chassis. After that I will "go to market" inside. The fibreglass shell inside and out are quite good thankfully.
No ensuite Ray but will be when I'm finished. Cheers, Neil

Hi Larry No, nothing as flash as that. The front awning has been cut up and replaced broken windows in the rhs by a previous owner. Cheryl is getting impatient for me to renovate it.

Well I started on it on Monday I need to remove the inside wall, or at least at floor level, so I can fiberglass the new floor to the external fiberglass shell. I have removed the front dining seat bases and the front windows. The floor is nearly completely gone near the wall. We have plans of putting a club lounge at the front. As you can see, there isn't much internal timber framing left where the windows were mounted and this window frame is one of the better ones. The front window frame is almost completely rotted away. Hopefully doing some more this weekend Neil
