G'day Emma Thanks for sharing your restoration photos of roadhaven no 54 The aluminium on the sides ......you did not think about pulling it off and checking to see what the bondwood was like ....are you bring it down to the Nats next year ...as there will be a few roadhavens in attendance f/f ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi don't think there is wood underneath the aluminum I thought the cladding was original? Does yours have wood underneath? I do have wooden floors underneath the Lino which ispretty cool.

Hi roadhaven54 What a beautiful van - I love your interior. I wondered if your hand pump is marked <briggs> anywhere? Mine looks just the same (but is not working at present) - it would be good to know where it came from - possibly a lovely roadhaven like yours. How _handy_ is that bit of counter over the sink? The wheels are turning... Cheers Seeshell

Hi roadhaven 54, great van, friend looked at buying it bout 12mths ago but as he already had two roadhavens had no where to keep it. As firefighter suggests i think your van will be bondwood under the cladding, on page 8 of the members photos under the tubby gra heading Grahams roadhaven no 56 appears, perhaps yours is like this under the cladding? cheers dave

Hi roadhaven 54, the best shot of my friends roadhaven is on page 6 of runs and events, look under Bright , its on the bottom of the second page. This is a totally original roadhaven bouhgt of the original owner, and seldom used. When i get some better photos of his other van currently under resto i,ll post them. cheers dave

Hi roadhaven54,
welcome to the forum. Your van looks beautifull, the french ticking, little roses teatowel combined with pretty green cupboard doors and a bed covered in comfy cushions, it all looks like a lovely van to spend your leisure time in.
Wishing you all the best with it,
