Hi, the ceiling in my Viscount is made up of 3 sections, the middle section (around the hatch) has been replaced before I bought the van. The thing that has been bugging me is the replacement sheet is very different in colour to the 2 original ones. I've thought of replacing all 3 sheets but this seems a huge job for no real reason other than for looks. So I'm thinking of painting the ceiling... Any suggestions regarding the type of paint to use would be much appreciated. I want the finished job to look good or otherwise I'll just bite the bullet and replace the whole ceiling. I'm guessing I'll be use a roller to apply the paint. Also I would like to put a bit of a 'fleck' over the paint to give it a little more of an 'original' look and to hide any imperfections which may be more noticeable one it's all one colour. Any Ideas how to achieve this affect??? Thanks in advance, Chris

Hi Chris.. If ya want "fleck"you will have to spray paint it. Sorry i cant offer any more than that. I am reasonably good at brush and roller painting but i am hopeless at spray painting. Someone here on the forum will come up with the answers you are seeking shortly . Cheers mate Reddo

They sell fleck flakes that are added to workshop floor paint applications. These applications can be rolled, brushed or sprayed. Can`t see why it can`t apply to house paint. cheers gordon
