The Friday Night Rockabilly Ball. St Bernards Hotel April 29th featuring The Sugar Shakers (QLD) and the hip shakin’ voodoo of Rocket To Memphis (WA) This will be the only performance for Rocket To Memphis in QLD for 2011.
Saturday Night rockabilly. St Bernards Hotel. April 30th This melting pot of Australian music brilliance will feature Harry Deluxe and the Cap Gun Johnnies (WA) Pete Martini and The Freight Jumpers (QLD/VIC) Warren Earl & The Atomic Rockers (VIC/QLD) this will be Warren Earls only QLD performance for 2011. We are also proud to present Rusty Pinto ( Formally from Rusty and The Dragstrip Trio) from WA and his combo performing his wild and unique Rockabilly and Jump Blues show. This is not to be missed!

Art Show

Nostalgia Movies
Zamia Theater, Main street. The Saturady afternoon movie matinee will feature PinUp Girl (1944) starring Betty Grable (rated G) this movie features lots of pretty girls, music and cool scenes from the past. The second flick is Road Racers starring David Arquette and Selma Hayek (rated M15+) set in the’50s, this cat is living the life with a cool satin black ’56 Chev, hot girlfriend and his trusty guitar. You will be able to enjoy a snack and a wine or beer at the movies!
Vintage Soap Box Derby
Dream It, Build It, Race It. Plans are coming along nicely, The race track will be Curtis Rd which will be closed to traffic, there will be a parking are at the corner of Curtis Roads and Long Roads for racers, crew and spectators. There will be trophies to be won and fun to be had! All cars must pre-enter “ no exceptions” if you have not pre entered and turn up on the day, you will not be able to race. Rules and car specs are available from the GB&G management team.
