Morphy Richards 3-way fridge - how to light it

Hiya,

Does anyone know how to run the Morphy Richards 3 way fridge in my 1965 Viscount on gas? I was given instructions when I bought it but can't remember now... the electric to gas switch is on the bottom front of the fridge and I can hear gas but have no idea where or how to light the pilot - there is a small red button to the right of the gas/electric switch and a round black knob with the lettters C & D and numbers 1-5 on it in between the two.
I am sure someone out there must have one of these so any operating instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a metal cover that runs along the bottom of the fridge, that hides all the controls?

The instructions could be on the inside of this cover

I have the same fridge in my van and the instructions are readable! I think you need two batteries in first and they must help ignite the gas.
Happy to help if you need a copy of the instructions.
