That's a shame, I was looking forward to catching up, have you guys been to the Lockrose Museum in the lockyer valley? Smaller but he does have some interesting stuff? The road(s) to the Lockrose Heritige Mueseum are also closed to all but residents, went for a drive to check yesterday afternoon( a whole 2km round trip from home between the village and mueseum where the Locker Creek has ripped up the pavement and also from the Forrest Hill/Lowood road across the low single lane bridge. This is an interesting place, old wares, automobilia, etc. He also builds those little BMW and FJ holdlen miniture racecars with motorbike engines in them and has a race track onsite. I belieive camping is available but power is not. They also have a minin thearterette sety up showing old movies from lakeside raceway etc. The original starters tower from the very first australian grand prix is at the entrance too. Australia's first grand prix was at the old USAF airstrip just up the road at Lowood in the 1950's Would make a good weekend away. Hope you all have a great time at lennox Head, I am off to Toowoomba Swap for the weekend. Cheers, Steve

Will see you all tomorrow, we can all chew the rag on this one.
a thought I had was Tenterfield. They have a very low key festival called Oracles of the Bush on 31/3 to 3/4. It coincides with start of autumn colour. Bush dance, heritage buildings etc. All 3 caravan parks are pet friendly.
