Hi VVers Need to clean the aluminium window frames on my 68 Olympic. Is there a simple home remedy for this job?

Hi guys & welcome to the forum.Simple method:Superfine 00 Grade steel wool or 1200 Wet & Dry. Either way gloves on as your fingers will go greyish. Anyhows,mask off around frame just to save any discolouring to body work. If using steel wool use it dry & just rub & rub to attain a soft looking shiny finish. Using Wet & Dry keep the paper wet and like wise rub & rub (lengthways obviously along the tops & bottom of frame & blend in with long strokes on the sides.Wipe excess off & use any good ali/metal polish.
