G'day everyone, Not sure if anyone will be interested in this one but thought I'd put it here anyway. The Victorian Goldfields Railway that runs between the two tourist towns of Castlemaine and Maldon are holding a picnic day at the half way point of the line-Muckleford on the 23rd of October. I've been the last two years and its been a great day out with the local brass band, stationary engine displays, model train display, car display and of course the main attraction, the train itself! Unfortunately the railway had a set back with the station at Maldon being gutted from a fire caused by a faulty fridge. So it would be great to support them. There's a catch though! As Muckleford is only a paddock with a small rural station in it, There's no power and no showers. There are toilets though.... I know that this may not appeal to many people, but at this stage I'm looking to camp over on the Friday night for the display day on the Sat. If you'd like more info, or would like a flyer for your car club for the display day go to www.vgr.com.auCheers, John
