Hi All The fridge in our roadhaven van was gas only and we never used it ...we have been using a small bar fridge in the annex ( I lifted in and out of the van when we traveled) Before the nats in mildura we deceided to buy a new caravan fridge I was not happy about having a new fridge in the van as it would look out of place So off we went to Caravan Refrigeration Services 24 Eileen rd Clayton South (03) 9574 1900 www.caravanrefrigeration.com.auwalked in and told the bloke in the show room what our problem was ......he then said to me I grew up repairing Morphy Richard fridges ....bring your fridge in...... 100% sure I can take your gas bits out and fit electric and you wont know its been changed over.... Don was his name he went out the back and spoke to Len ...came back in ....yep will do that for you $240 By the way Len and myself are lookers at www. vintagecaravan .com and love all the old vans on the forum I have never won lotto but this was just as good ...saved $700 bucks not having to buy a new fridge BUT I was in the s##t with Gay .... left home thinking she was getting a new fridge Was it worth being in the s##t.........YEP Don & Len told me they are happy looking at any old fridge for forum members..... so give them a ring if your old caravan fridge don't work f/f ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

FF Definately a good contact in melbourne but for those members in Brisbane "Caravan Refrigeration Service" at Lawnton recently closed the doors of their shed BUT Geoff is still operating a mobile service plus work at his home on the northside of brisbane. Contact now is 3425 2450 or 0407 670 534. I have always found him pretty good to deal with. Rollydog

Fantastic...these guys are exactly what I need as was thinking of ditching old fridge & buying new! Reluctant to throw the three way out...but it has about a three inch crack and smaller cracks radiating from that on the bottom inside. A friend told me this was not good...and it should be replaced altogether! ? I can't seem to get it to go either... Might give these guys a call in Clayton and see what they think....if I can get the darn thing out!!! J
