Hi Humpyboy, yeah i might have to get my brother to do it for me lol. While i was out the back playing with all things that had wheels. He was playing computer games and stuff. I,m very excited about my recent $50 ebay purchase. It was in a backyard on the nsw north coast for the last fifteen years, unregistered, under a carport. It's complete right down to the curtains. i changed the hitch, re-packed the bearings and towed it home on a permit. it looks so cool behind my car. I,m sure we will share many cool trips together.

G'day scopo,
Photobucket is the go... we need to see photos of your 'van because most of the "Crusader" 'vans we know of were made in New Zealand and it appears quite a few made their way to Oz. There was also a dealer who re-badged some of his 'vans "Crusader" so it would be interesting see what you have.
Go to the top of the "General" forum and click on the "helpful hints" thread and you'll get the clues on how to use photobucket.
Cobber.

Hi Cobber, I will try and download some tomorrow My van is a New Zealand built model, it has a plate on the front stating it has a Trojan dura-torque axle assembly, it has been re-painted in green and beige (very badly done) I found a picture on this forum of a blue one in Tassie. my van is identical on the outside. however my interior is laid out differently. Instead off the single beds being at each end (front and back of the van) mine are on the sides As well as my bench, gas stove, fridge and sink are across the front of the van. I'm guessing they were built to order Any info on the subject would be most helpful.

Hi scopo, your Crusader would have been made in New Zealand and shipped over here on a reciprocal arrangement with a car company in Melbourne. The one you have was the original shape, the one in jbj post with the fibreglass front, back and roof were the last ones made in NZ.They were then made in Wangaratta with wind out windows and fibreglass front and back and went out of business in the mid to late seventies.Anthony motors in Highett(Melb) were the distributors on Nepean Hwy.Location is now a KFC outlet! Cheers hughdeani

Hi scopo, Your layout was standard,as was front lounge rear table, front table rear lounge, front and rear singles, and front kitchen and rear L shape singles.Your model had sliding sideways flyscreens on those huge front windows and a tri-fold table between the beds. Hope this is of some help to you hughdeani
