Hi posted an avatar of my Royal and preparing to take delivery of my 1959 Adventurer caravan. It has been in undercover storage since 1973, needs painting and brakes fitted. Adventurers were built in Richmond a suburb in Adelaide apparently not many left. Looking forward to the project. I have recently been in contact with Humpty2 seems as if he enjoys his caravans.

Hi Relmhayd, Good to hear that you've got yourself a van - I noted from your posts that you were on the hunt. I look forward to hearing - and seeing - more about the Adventurer. They are often mentioned but as you say there don't appear to be many left. When I was at the V V Nationals at Mildura, I spoke to Lazza from Adelaide who is connected with Roadmaster caravans. He commented that Adventurer were around for quite a while (I gather from the 40's through to the 60's) and he thought that a couple of vans I have been trying to identify may be Adventurers, but still to be confirmed. Are you in SA as well? Enjoy picking up your van, and don't forget to take some pics. It's a special moment! Don Ricardo

Hi Don Ricardo, yes I am a South Australian. I am a member of the Chrysler Restorers Club in SA and we have a national rally at Renmark at the end of September so will have to keep myself busy. Will certainly post some photos.
