Hi, Thought that some may be interested in this link. It details (with lots of pretty pictures for those who cannot read well ;D ;D ) many fine examples of electrical gadgetry going back to the 1900's. I have found it a valuable research tool when trying to date an item (and to find out whether the seller is telling porky-pies ) Always an essential when trying to kit out a VV homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.linnell/sso/index.htmlCornish Lass

Lass that is a great link, thank you. Now...I only wish I had electricity in ol'36 and I would buy some of those English electrical things. My other van "Driftwood" does have electricity, so that site will help determine if some of the "stuff" I put in it is authentic to the 50's. Could you find a site similar to that one for me please that shows non-electrical "kitchenalia" and groceries type goodies Thank you in anticipation (I know you can do it) Cobber.

Hey cornishlass. Why don't we split the difference with the weather between your side and ours? Then we would all be happy! A brilliant link you gave us. Thanks for your continuing contribution. Sort of makes vintage vanning more universal having interest on the wrong end of the earth too! Cheers Ray
