Those who were at Mudjimba may remember Sunshine Coast museum staff talking about an upcoming display titled Greetings from Peregian Beach Road House. This starts tomorrow & the info I have is they were making a full size picture of my Munro van & attaching my spare annex in which will go the old barbeque, chairs, picnic gramophone & more . (this is what I was chasing timber tent poles for but ended up painting aluminium ones brown)
From the info I have read it looks like a good nostalgic display about the sunshine coast area so would be worth a visit if you are in the area or feel like a drive up the coast. Details are below but after it finishes at Caloundra it heads to Cooroy Gallery for a few weeks. "Greetings from Peregian Beach Roadhouse" Caloundra Regional Gallery Showing 21 April–23 May 2010 22 Omrah Avenue, Caloundra Qld 4551 Wednesday to Sunday, 10.00am–4.00pm t. 07 5420 8299 e. artgallery@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au w. caloundraregionalgallery.org.au
