Yes... thanks for those photos from the Trevor Roberts memorial run Jodel, always good to see what type of rigs you blokes have over there. At the Nationals this year we had our fingers crossed it didn't rain because there wasn't a lot of grass about.... we would have had to do some mud wrestling for entertainment, looks like your camp spots were the same . AND..... I see the event was also covered by the some where else team Did the two birthday boys behave themselves Cobber.

G'day all, Thanks to jodel for posting photos.........good to see more than one camera at an event ;D ;D ;D ;D First, for those who never knew him or wonder who Trevor was, a photo of the man and his FC and vin van on one of the original runs 5 years ago......... For those who are wondering where or what is Quindanning .......a little geography maybe required........34kms west of Williams (on the Albany Hwy), 160kms SE of Perth, 170kms NW of Bridgetown.....not much here other than a very popular pub built in the late 1800's, an Anglican Church, a few houses and a bush horserace track. Our camp for the weekend was at the racetrack, approx. 3kms from the pub. The journey for those of us from the South West........... lunch stopover in Darkan.............. The unfortunate "airconditioning" of Ross' Fairlane............... On the road......... Setting up................. Saturday night fever.............. A toast to Trevor................. A day early, but birthday wishes to Daggsey and Snail............ After the pub, campfire musings (till 4am for some ) Sunday 6th and trip to an on-farm historic town (open to groups only).......an awesome personal collection............... Back to camp............Will catches up on the news Back to the campfire.......... Another Ford miss-hap ............... A happy group of campers............... Daggsey

Great photos jodel & daggsey Another great weekend (Cathy & I must do this more often ) I would post pics of Jess's place but Jodel & me followed these directions and ended up in Sydney, Kalgoorlie, would you believe .... York ? OK we just got lost Will its about time you wash and polished the van. Its dirty Ron & Elaines van had visitors all weekend And I promise to never ever ever laugh at a flat head f##d that breaks down... Karma .... The FC did a seal in the transmission and we ended up on the back of an RAC tow truck on the trip home

Hey Surferboy, sorry, we went straight past you, couldn't stop because of the 20 cars behind us. We figured you can't be broken dpwn cause your in a Holden. Glad you got help. Did you know we had to pay extra for the ensuite site. Great pics from you all good on ya's, we didnt take any, too busy golfing , boomeranging or biking (dragsters rule) and a little bit of drinking (not advisable to ride dragsters when drinking)

Hi Don & Cobber, Thanks for comments & yes everyone had a great time, and the ground was no problem as we never get rain in WA, we are famous for that & some of the best droughts around. Also thanks for providing the link to Keith Halls Somewhere else, very interesting & now I know that a big fish was named after Wanda in Boddington & that John Cleese even named a film after Wanda & the big fish in Boddington - "A Fish Called Wanda"! The birthday boys behaved very well, and I would like to thank Daggsey for providing the feature including Trevor, it was nice especially for those of us who never met him. Also thanks for the photo's especially Jess Martins place, I'm sure Surfaboy & myself appreciated those & next time we may even get to visit ourselves. Still we had fun out on the old York Williams unsealed portion of road, even if we were the only humans in a 50 km radius? Good job the transmission held out - it would have been a long walk back to Quindanning. Surfaboy - sorry to hear about your transmission but thanks for running us around the Quindanning area & great to catch up with everyone. Photo above is of my nightmare last night whilst dreaming of broken Ford's & Holden's I was rescued by Dr Who when my Jaguar XK120 blew everything. Then I woke up and remembered I was safely home, the little Outlandish had done it again - "Love that car", but can't wait to get a shed & a proper classic. Cheers Jodel

That's pretty good surferboy.... there should be more of it. I like the response Snails speech got from the mob and I think Trevor would have liked it too And... I like the way you promoted the fact that it was a vintagecaravans.com event Cobber.

Bubbles is Silver ! NOT Blue -
Seems only tow cars hauling BLUE vans break down. LOL
