I didn't go into that site either for the same reason as JBJ, but my curiosty led me to this Danish Vin Van site: www.airstream.dk/hist.htm Beware to wear your shades for the sight of polished aluminium. There is also a pretty radical twin-axle teardrop to be seen.

Groovy, If you just want a pic, I believe the third pic down on the Danish link is the 1928 Glenn Curtiss Aerocar.

Thanks for that Escape Pod, much appreciated. It is the 3rd one down and the 4th is a 1936 version behind an International. Can you imagine the curiosity one of them would inspire. Greg

Groovy, there was a post here a couple of months ago about someone locating a 1930's fifth wheeler. It was announced it was going to be checked it out the following weekend or something. I was really looking forward to seeing pictures, but they never eventuated. I think it was in rural NSW (?) So if you REALLY want one, it's out there somewhere waiting for you.
