Hi Max,
I'd guess homemade, as its not the same as the bulk of the "factory" built units we see in magazines & on the Forum.
Wheels & hubcaps appear to be 37 Ford, but Kaybee can correct me if I'm wrong (again ;D ;D ;D)
Looks pretty OK to rebuild/restore for a good useable van

Thanks JBJ ... as usual. Would you be able to have a guess as to its build date??

Hi Max,
I would think early 50's, based on windows, & internal fitout. Could very well be older , as several 40,s vans I've seen are similar inside. You never know by wheels & axles alone as a lot of the home builders used whatever they could find, so often the wheels & axle came from wrecked cars instead of new items.
But whatever it is, its unlikely to be newer than mid 50's I believe.

Wow! what a great looking little van! I actually thought it might be a Don at first, going by the shape of it, but the inside tells a different tale. I need to stay away from this thread, the more I look at it the more I like it, especially the shape of it, and my wife would kill me! although I do think I would change the pink cupboards Love the kids drawings on the side lol, they would have had alot of fun doing that! ;D Let's hope it goes to a good home.

Hi Ray,
Sorry for the delay in replying to your query as I just noticed it. I've not seen the van in person but a friend is the owner so, I'll try and get some more information asap.
