Hi Guys Monica ooops sorry Ditzy here,
you are all bloody wonderful................... to quote a very intelligent ladie " I like what I see" ( Kath Day-night).
It is comming together really well..................... and Reddo and Santa thank you from the bottom of my little heart................ I am afraid I have not been on board for a while due to some rather major "KId Problems" and have had to leave the GP............ to do it on his own................. ( do I have to pick up the pieces).
I think the prices etc are very good.............. will be loving to see Santa's bits and pieces.......... with that I agree with JBJ......... would be nice to keep it in the group........( pay backs are optional)...............
I would like both a plain t shirt and and a ladies singlet.
Guys I am looking forward to meeting you all at Morgan..................
Ditzy is Back.
PS........... Ditzy and the Grand Poohbah are getting hitched................. ( nothing to do with Vintage Caravans)

Hi everyone. I agrree with JBJ. If we can throw a bit of business in the direction of one of our forum members then lets go with Santa. Allthough the mob i have dealt with over the last 20 years are good at what they do. I feel it would be better to use some one from within the group.
As with the stickers i will pull my head in and go with the flow. We should sit back now and let santa come up with a final cost and design for t shirts and polo shirts. Then once this is established maybe start a thread for orders or to save clogging up the site we could just ring or PM Santa with our orders and get an address to send our bank cheques or money orders to.
Maybe allow a month for orders to be put in then get em printed. Just pleased to see something happening to promote the movement.
Reddo

OK kiddies, my screen people have given me a set up cost to do the screens for the T shirts. For the pocket print we will need 6 screens and for the back another 2 screens, 8 in total. the cost for artwork, set up, etc is $250 +gst. So if we work on 40 shirts this is an EXTRA $6.88 per item for the initial run of shirts. This is a once off cost so If we do another run of shirts later down the track this will not be applied. So the TOTAL cost for a run of 40 items is as follows: Tee's $16.58 Polo's $24.71 Singlets $15.93 If we were to sell them at: Tee's $22.00 Polo's $33.00 Singlets $22.00 this would give a margin of 1/3 on cost to cover postage and handling etc, as well as give us some money to put towards upkeep of the site instead of it coming out of Marks pocket. It could also give us a funds to do more promotional items later like keyrings, hats or drink coolers If we were to do a smaller run next time that would be OK but any less than 10 there would be a sucharge to set the screens up of $25. My people can do ANY quantity, but economies of scale dictate that we can offer the best price on runs of 50 or more items. Cheers, Santa28a.

Mark A suggestion re: t shirts, have you thought about getting transfers for individuals to iron onto their own t shirts, this would save on costs and postage etc. and allow individual choice of shirt. Greg

Greg Past experience tells me that iron ons only last a few washes then they start to crack and craze. Especially white on black shirts. If we go with a reputable screen printing company and things stuff up then we have some sort of comeback on them. ( warranty). Isn't that right Santa Reddotiedyefromthe70s

Mark and Reddo I haven't had any experience with either type and thought it may have been a cheaper option, but I am happy to stand corrected as short lasting cheap is not as economical as long lasting slightly dearer. Greg

Got it Will
Send me your surname and your contact no. I just had a blueslip (NSW roadworthy for trailers/caravans) done on a trailer made out of an F350 chassis last week, and then registered it, so I know where the van can be taken if necessary.

How's all in VC world. Was wondering if anyone out there knows where they usually joined ply sheets, I can't find any joints in the bum of my van? The section i'm replacing is the backwall from the bottom up to the the rear window. I'm thinking the most logical position is half way up the window, (making just 2 short joins either side of the window, where it's also the flattest area) wadaya reckon ? The vans been coming along nicely, sand blasted chassis, pulled out rear internals for minor repairs & mods (fronts fine) . Hoping around AUG for rego. Regards Kingy
