This beautiful Sunliner caravan is number four in the “Cobber- Free to a Good Home” series. As you would be aware fibre glass sunliners are a very rare and sought after vintage caravan and examples in this condition are very hard to find. You may recognise this one as having recently been on ebay where it attracted spirited bidding. The winning bidder unfortunately (for him) was unable to take delivery so it is now offered exclusively to members of this forum. Even now there is a fibre glass 'van in similar condition being offered on ebay for $9900 but you have the opportunity to purchase this one for NOTHING ! What you will have is a “blank canvas” to work with so that how ever much or little you do to it will be an improvement. The 'van is centrally located near Moree--- equal distance from Walgett, Gunnedah in NSW & Moonie in Qld. This is an urgent give away as the 'van must be removed very shortly. For further details please contact me via a PM … applicants will not necessarily be considered on a first come basis.... we are looking for a good home in the hands of a potential Vintage Caravan restorer. As this photo shows it is under cover. This photo shows that the replacement windows will be of your choosing (lead lights maybe ?) as will be the interior fittings. Cobber.

Cobber, This looks good for someone that has a "bit of ticker" and a willingness to undertake a significant transformation project. If I knew something about fiberglass I could be interested for that "special project". Best of luck HALPS Brisbane

YO.. A permit to move from the RTA $25 + inspection station fee.... Fit a light board off a boat trailer. Drive up ... tow it home for around $300 or $400.
Or... hire a carfloat for 2 days and drive up and back.. Lot cheaper than $1600
Or.. Cobber takes an "all expenses paid" holiday and tows it down to Vic... ;D ;D ;D
Reddo... the ever helpfull ;D

Sounds to good to be true.......Very excited about this once in a life time opportunity. tell you the truth i have no experience at all with fixing caravans but i'm an interior designer. and have some great ideas for this caravan. I also do have a friend that is a mechanic and also has re-built a caravan before and he is very keen to help me fix it, that's if i get this little beauty.

G'day Smylwarny, Gee you've waited just a bit too long to put your hand up for this one.... and it could have done with an interior designer's touch . Travis is the man....who got this van....I think he's got a plan.... he's doing what he can....you can see he's got no fear....if you click right hereCobber

G'day tuffxa351, You probably noticed 'travis' was also interested in this van ...... back in 2010 . In fact he did take it on and you can see what he did with it if you CLICK HERE Thing is, travis hasn't logged on for about 41/2 years so I don't know if he finished it or not.. Anybody out there know anything about travis or his van ? Cobber.
