Hi reddo and firefighter (and everyone else)
Great effort on the trophy night Reddo! I forgot to get one of those certificate of participation things you made, but doesn't matter I know I was there - but I think you missed a trophy category - for biggest crap-heap of a towcar. ;D
It was great to meet you and understand that I am not alone in thinking that caravan parks (in a caravan or even tent) are the best way to holiday!
Cheers,
Gristy

Hi Impala
Send me a pm with your address or p.o. Box number and i will post one to you.
I might be down your way on friday. I have bought a 1948 Ariel Red Hunter motorcycle from Lake Tyres Beach near Lakes Entrance. The bike carrier mob want around $700 to bring it back to sydney and i would have to drive down there to pick it up..addanother $60 to the cost of getting it home.. I went to Mt Gambier for $211 fuel. Lakes entrance is only a 10 hour drive and probably an overnight stay somewhere so around $500 all up. Just gotta find and fit another starter motor in the HR before Friday morning and all should be sweet.
Reddo

Yo Impala. If you are chasing one of those cool blue "www.vintagecaravans.com" stickers you will need to contact Cobber. He mumbled something about unloading the shirts, calanders and stickers back to me. I have already done my stint of merchandise selling at Coledale 2007 so i escaped Mt Gambier before he had time to wobble over to my ute and dump it all back on me. If its the "2008 Vintage van nationals- Mt Gambier S.A" sticker ya want then ya can pm me. They are free to anyone who attended the Nats with a vintage van. The "www. vintagecaravans.com" stickers are $10.00ea and Cobber charges $64.99 postage and handling ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. Kaybags... I have 4 starter motors in the shed of invention all are full of Flaggey creek ( creek behind our fence) mud after the June floods last year. I swappped one over last night after giving it a good blow out with comp air. Doesnt sound real sweet at all. They are still available brand new. Where $338 5 years ago .. now $286... woo hoo i,m gunna buy 4.. NOT. Wreckers want $50 for one Looks like the trip to hicksville is off. The M/Cycle carrier has just rang and done me a better deal to my door from Lake Tyres Beach. Apparently his rate gets cheaper if there is other bikes in the ara to pick up. He has just scored another job/bike to pick up at Moe so i get out of it cheaper. Will list "The Ratdroppings TD" on ebay sometime today to cover carrier costs. Reddo
