Hi Im a new member, I was given an old caravan that had been sitting in a paddock for about 10 years, it looks like someone as made some attempt at starting to restore it, many years ago. Its a Gypsy 10, made by the Gypsy caravan company Pty Ltd Herbert St. St Leonards NSW Id like to know if any other members have one, or know any info on it.

Hello gypsyrose and welcome, I love your tow vehicle, you've done a great job on the resto, your van will look the Bee's knee's behind her, I was just the other day talking with one of our customers/suplliers and he told me of an old van that was sitting up on the family property and if I wanted it it was mine for the taking, he did mention a brand name that made certain parts of me tingle but I would like to see it before I say anymore. Cheers humpyboy

Hi Gypsyrose,
Thats a great old van, & appears to very sound inside. You should enjoy rebuilding it, as the majority of the hard work will be rubbing back & refinishing, to get it smooth & shiney again,
Nice to see all the badges still intact. They can be extremely difficult to find if missing or damaged.
Best of luck with your rebuild.
It all becomes worth it when you finish, & get to use it. Thats when you realise how many people are watching your repairs. Dont forget to keep the pix flowing during your work. We all love pix on this Forum.
Its starting to be fun again
