Hi I am wondering if their would be any interest in having Shed days / technical days for the SE Qld members?
What I am thinking is for example members come to our house and see Esky the Propert and Peggy Sue the Bondwood and collectables etc.
We then go to the park for a BBQ lunch.
Members wouldnt bring their vans just drive to the shed day to view the members van etc. Then the next time its someone elses turn to host shed day.
These shed days can be every two months or so
Anyone interested? Regards Kathryn and Paul

Sound like a good excuse for a "working bee" while they are all there ;D ;D Excellent idea, perhaps all states could organise something similar, it would be great to see some of the "unfinished projects" and learn from others what to do or what not to do cheers, Leigh.

Hello Kathryn & Paul,
Thanks for your suggestion concerning 'shed days'. I am only speaking for myself here, but thanks but no thanks. Our South East group already enjoy weekends away with our caravans & classic cars as often as we can. May I suggest you come to one of our runs instead. regards, dosse

Hello Dosse We are working on going on a run.
Marilyn wasnt suitable for a long trip or overnight and so we didnt have a van to take on your runs.
So we just took her out on short day trips.
Now we are getting her re built and now have the Propert we are working on it
Shed days may help people without a van etc. We have learnt so much from others re technical issues etc
Regards Kathryn

I thinkit's a good idea Kathryn - a good reason for people like me to clean their shed out so that they can see the floor again ;D ;D ;D
Doesn't mean everyone has to be interested in going, but there could well be enough to start something like that.

Hello Ray and Leigh Look what Paul use to have in our garage when we lived in Vic. Actually he had two scout cars. They were in the backyard before he built the garage. Maybe he can tell you all about the Ferret scout cars he once had at our shed day ! Its a photo of the photo so not really a great shot. Briefly he picked up one at an auction in Vic and drove it to his parents home and parked it in their driveway. He then went home to his own place !! Cheers Kathryn
