We are still on the coast, & at the Candelo Market I was asking a bloke where he got the tail-lights for his truck & told him I wanted them for a Vintage Van I was restoring, he said contact Anthony in Bega who had 2 "roundy" old vans he was restoring, so phoned & made a time to meet him at his Auto business. Anthony's vans were a pleasant surprise, also his Award winning tow vehicle. There was evidence of a plate having been attached to the bottom left by the door, but Anthony said he thought it is homemade, I sure don't know but guess there'll be someone here that knows. He towed it from Avalon to Bega. The van is 9 ft long We searched for numbers on the chassis, couldn't find anything anywhere Anthony intends to restore the van & that is believable as he has another fully restored Vintage Van which I have photos of but won't post for a few days, but will include his tow vehicle with this lot. What I did do, was talked him into registering on the VV forum, he did that while I guided him through, & encouraged him to post the other van himself. He said he is very busy, even after putting in hours at his business, so will wait & see. The other van is unique & immaculately finished & he & his family use it, so we have an enthusiastic restorer-user here. It was a great visit. Surf Tragic
