We are looking at putting a Vintage Caravan Display at next years Holden Day at Flemington Race Course on the 17th February. Not all of us have a Holden towcar. But that won't matter. If it's a Chev, Ford, English and so on it will be ok to bring. The day is going to be promoted on the colour flyer, and we are trying to lock in a caravan sponsor for the event. l need numbers so we can allocate space. Please PM me your details or reply to this post. Regards, Tony.

Hi Tony,
Would love to attend but just cant commit at the moment. I am in limbo living between Syd & Melb at the moment and currently i have a VV in Syd and a old car in Melb!
If i can make it work ill be there with bells on but understand if you need commitment earlier.
Cheers J

Hi All, Just an update on the Vintage Caravan display at the Victorian Holden Day on the 17th February 2008 at Flemington Racecourse. There will be no entry fee if you're displaying your vintage caravan, but if you're bringing your Holden along and want it judged an entry form will need to be filled out and paid for by 25th January 2008. If your car is not being judged, you don't have to fill out any forms prior to the event. If your tow car is not a Holden, its still welcome. Gates open at 7am and your caravan must be in position from 9.30am and stay until 4pm. If you'd like an entry form/flyer, PM me and I'll email it to you, or go to www.victorianallholdenday.net Cheers, Tony.

Hi Tony,
I'm glad you updated this one, I had forgotten about it! Well it is only a Holden do.
Unfortunately we will have to miss as I am getting hip this year. I mean I go in for a hip replacement on the 29th of January (13 days) and although I will be out of hospital by then I dont think I will be out and about. Thought about loading me into the Teardrop and towing me over there but I wont mention Karon's answer.
Have a great day and we will catch up soon.
cheers to all, Leigh.

Nascohunter,
Somehow missed this post back in August, might have been away me thinks. Anyway..... we can’t come, but I reckon it’s a great idea.
The more we can lift the Vintage Caravan profile in the public mind the more likely it is that other V V’s will be rescued and restored, and who knows, we may see a Vintage Caravan magazine at the news agents one day.......... well, a post card maybe.
I was at a papershop today, browsing, could have bought five “Vintage Tractor” magazines.... all from the UK.
I hope you have a great day .
Cobber.

G'day Gang, Well we arrived home yesterday after two weeks away down south and around 1800 klm's later, a great fortnight it was. Caught up with the Kaybee's when passing through then onto the caravan display at the all holden day at Flemington racecoarse, it was a full on day with thousands of lookers at the display of 400 holdens. The biggest surprise of the day was lurking in the crowd, none other than earlee who was down from Qld. just never know who your going to run into. Enjoyed the HOT day very much, and would'nt mind doing it again - Thanks for the invite Tony (nascohunter) might see ya again next year Cheers Kingy
