Hello I finally sorted out my log in name so no longer a guest.
Can anyone recommend a caravan restorer for Bondwood vans?
Marilyn now has a garage which she is going into this weekend so have to find someone to re vamp her.
I have started to ring around caravan repairers and I assume not too many people repair Bondwood vans?
I have found one company that will take a look at Marilyn so thats a start.
I am good at helping knocking down walls in houses and help pulling off cladding etc but not so good at cutting ply and repairing old timber !
I thought I could (with my husbands help) remove the outer ply ourselves and the company can just make up the new walls.
So I assume I should make a drawing of Marilyn with all the measurements . Then we take the measurements to the restorer for them to cut and fit new ply ? or leave all the old outer ply on and get them to remove the outer ply?
Hope that makes sense
Cheers KJL

I would be looking to carpenters (perhaps retired) in your local area might get a much better job than a specific caravan restorer? Matt

Hello Matt Thanks ye will ring some carpenters. Will check local paper
Dosse and Steve will PM you
I have had Marilyn 3 years now and have done nothing much to restore her but its time now as she is nearlly 58 years old.
The carpenters we have used in the past usually just do walls and decks etc so will be good to actually get someone to renovate Marilyn .
Would be nice to take Marilyn out more Dosse !
Thanks for replies KJL
